Race Details
The Last Meadow is the inaugural endurance event of Lifted Nation Institute, Inc., a nonprofit organization. The race is run in the Last Man Standing (Backyard Ultra) format: a 4.167-mile loop starts on the hour, every hour, until only one runner remains. Any runner who fails to start a loop on time, or to complete it within 60 minutes, is recorded DNF. The winner is the last runner to complete a loop that no one else finishes.
RACE START: Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 7:00 AM (first loop). Be in the corral at the bell — 3, 2, and 1-minute warnings will sound before each loop.
LOCATION: Dixon Park District Dog Park, Dixon, IL 61021 (next to Meadows Park).
PACKET PICKUP: Friday, September 11, 2026, 12:00–2:00 PM at the Dixon Park District building next to The Meadows. Late check-in available race morning.
AID & CREW: Aid station at the start/finish only. Crew may assist runners in the designated crew zone between loops. Outside assistance anywhere on course results in DNF.
RULES: Runners must be 18+. One earbud allowed; no pacers or strollers on course. Headlamp required after sundown.
AWARDS: Last Man Standing trophy for the winner; finisher medals for all runners who complete at least one loop.
