Adventure Summary
Schwendiman T3 50 is a self-supported, checkpoint-based 50-mile challenge connecting Schwendiman Farm in Newdale with the Rexburg North Temple, Rexburg Temple, and Idaho Falls Temple.
This is not a traditional fixed-course race. Adventurers may start any time between 00:00 and 23:59 on challenge day, and their official time begins when they start through the challenge website. Participants must reach all required checkpoints in order, but they may choose their own route between checkpoints while staying on public roads, public paths, and permitted areas.
The challenge uses NFC checkpoint stickers along the route. Adventurers will check in through the challenge website as they reach required checkpoints. Check-ins may also unlock optional photo challenges for bonus points, adding a scavenger-hunt style layer to the day.
This is designed as a low-cost, self-supported endurance adventure through the farmland and temple corridor of eastern Idaho. Participants are responsible for their own navigation, food, water, safety, and support. Limited unmanned support or drop locations may be available, but adventurers should be prepared to complete the route independently.
A public progress board may show adventurer status, checkpoint progress, finish times, and points throughout the challenge.
Completion must be on foot. No bikes, scooters, rides, or motorized assistance are allowed.
