Big Burro 24 Hour

24 Hours. 5-Mile Loop. Sunset to Sunset.

The Big Burro 24 Hour is an old-school mountain ultra on the Maple Hills Trail System in Big Bear, California.

Runners will complete as many laps as possible on an approximately 5-mile loop over 24 hours. The format is simple: start at sunset, run through the night, see what you have left when the sun comes back up, and keep moving until sunset Saturday.

This is not a polished road race. It is a gritty, community-driven trail event built around good people, hard miles, a lively basecamp, and the kind of suffering that makes ultras worth doing.
