Event Info
The race is held in the Oldman River valley of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. We appreciate that we are gathered on the lands of the Blackfoot people of the Canadian Plains and shared with the Cree and Metis. Our trails run near one of the last big battles between the Blackfoot and Cree. One lap is 51 km with approximately 1,100 m (3,600') of elevation change. Most of the hills will be in the range of 50-80m (150-250') in size and you will hit about 14 of those in one lap.
Two events start on Friday morning:
- 100 mile (33-hour cutoff completing 3 laps + an extra 9k loop)
- 100 km (21-hour cutoff completing 2 laps (102 km).
Note: The both the 100 mile and 100 km events are qualifying events for the Western States Endurance Run (WSER). *New: 100 mile racers must complete the full 100 miles in 33 hours.
The 50 km event starts on Saturday morning (11-hour cutoff completing one lap).
The toughest race on the prairies (and voted “best aid stations in the universe”). Finishers receive a large etched rock.
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age on race day.
