Experience the vibrant beauty of fall at the Daingerfield State Park 5K and 10K Turkey Trek,
set against the stunning backdrop of the park’s diverse landscape. This trail race weaves through two picturesque trails:
Rustling Leaf Trail and Mountain View Trail.

• Surface: Dirt single track, rocky/rooty trails


• Elevation: Rolling hills with one punchy climb (approx. 300 ft per 5K loop)

Trail Experience

Start on Rustling Leaf Trail, where runners will enjoy a scenic journey through a tapestry of autumn colors.
The crisp fall air and rustling leaves create a refreshing atmosphere as the trail winds through serene forests and along peaceful sections of Daingerfield Lake.

Transitioning to Mountain View Trail, the challenge rises with steeper climbs and rocky terrain.
The effort is rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of vibrant fall foliage and distant rolling hills,
a striking contrast to the tranquil lakeside scenery.

Runners may receive a full race credit to any race of their choosing with a minimum 30-day notice. Race credits cannot be transferred for notices less than 30 days. We do not offer full refunds. Receive your credit by canceling your registration. To cancel, log into Ultrasignup > Registration History and select “Edit” to cancel your race. Your credit needs to be used within one year. If you need an extended time to use your credit due to medical reasons (including pregnancy) or military deployments, please reach out beforehand.

We proudly offer discounts for all active duty military & first responders. Please visit our website and contact us to claim your discount. We will ask for a picture of your ID.

Please note, Holiday Races does not ship out race apparel or medals if a runner does not show up for the race.
