Up the Creek!

The evil frenchman has some new shady cohorts. This time they are after or baby sticks. You must travel up the creek (Indian Creek Trail at Hanging Rock) to the beaver dam and rescue our wood! The course is roughly 10 miles with 1000' of point to point elevation gain in the first half and 1000' of p2p downhill in the second half. There are 22 creek crossings, all of which you can stay dry.... if you want... or not, if you don't want! You'll pass Window Falls twice, and if it's not icy we'll go through the window. We'll circle the lake. And when you get back down the mountain, you'll have the option of coming a quarter mile down the middle of the Dan River to our infamous Finnish Line. * For the meek or the water averse, you can stay on the bank of the river, or have the option to come down the road for a time penalty. As usual, our after-party will be hosted by the fabulous Green Heron Alehouse.
