Whites 100

General Info

THIS IS NOT A RACE.

The Whites 100 is a logistically supported trip that helps clients complete the 100 miles of the Appalachian Trail traversing north to south through the White Mountains of New Hampshire. There is no timing and there are no awards.

What we provide

Transportation to the start and from the finish, transport of your supply bin to five designated support stations along the route, and resupply access at those road crossings. We do not provide on-trail guiding, pacing, or supervision — clients travel the route self-paced and under their own power, and are solely responsible for their own navigation, gear, and decisions.

Deposit and fees

There is a $200 bin deposit. When you start the trip, you keep your 17-gallon supply bin and we refund your deposit less the $17 cost of the bin, for a refund of $183. IF A CLIENT DOES NOT START: Any bin fees retained are donated in equal parts to the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC).

Trip guidelines

• Clients start between midnight and 6:00 AM, staggered to keep group size under 10 — non-negotiable in Wilderness areas.
• All clients are briefed on Leave No Trace ethics, travel in designated Wilderness, and general mountain safety.
• You must carry the required gear at all times, including a Garmin inReach satellite communication device.


• Weather is uncertain. If we have to cancel the trip, your deposit is refunded in full.
