A Celebration of Human Potential

World’s Fair Ultras – April 18, 2026

Downtown Knoxville, Tennessee | Certified Loop Course | Experience Worlds Fair Park and the history

3 Hour • 6 Hour • 6 Hour Ruck 12 Hour Day or Night • 24 Hour • 50K • 50 Mile • 100K

You’re built for more. You feel it when you run, when you dig deep, when you push past limits others never dare to test. But too often, races feel impersonal—like you’re just another bib number on a forgettable course.

You’ve trained, you’ve sacrificed, and you’re looking for something worthy of your effort. A course that honors what you’ve put in. A community that sees your drive. A race that feels like a celebration of the human spirit, not just a finish line.

World Fair Ultras is more than a race.

It’s a celebration of human potential—a festival of grit, tenacity, and community, held on a fast, flat, and officially USATF-certified loop in the heart of downtown Knoxville.

Whether you’re chasing your first ultra finish or gunning for 100 miles, this is your moment.

Ruck

We are thrilled to host a ruck division for the 6hr race. For the uninitiated, rucking is typically described as walking/hiking with a weighted pack. The activity gets its name from “rucksacks,” which is military-speak for “backpack.”

Men - 30lb dry
Female -15lb dry
Boys under 15 - 20lbs
Girls under 15 -10lbs

We are excited to say each finisher will receive a patch once your race is officially over or you've tapped out.

You must weigh-in. To make this administratively simple-no weigh-in = no finishers patch.

Subject to weight check at anytime.

You must also relay to RDs or event staff when you are officially ending your race!

Please plan to weigh in 30 minutes to 1 hr prior to the event start.

Weight must be in the form of a steel ruck plate, weight vest blocks, bumper plates,(sand weight is accepted)or other items which have the weight clearly stamped. Removal of plates or reduction of weight during the event is not authorized. Honor system applies. Do the right thing.
