Course Description

This point-to-point course which follows the beautiful Lostine River offers runners a 10K, 5K and 1 mile option. The course is fast, accurately measured and while mostly on pavement, it has the feel of a trail run because of the breathtaking beauty of the natural surroundings.
Dog and stroller friendly, this race has something for everyone. Participants are bussed to the start so keep that in mind when planning for your four-legged or four-wheeled participants. This mostly downhill course has gentle rolling hills in the first half and a small hill near the end. Race Director Eric Jensen of Eastern Oregon Sports Training says, "Don't let those tiny little hills deter you though. The courses are absolutely beautiful."
The Lostine River Run with its small-race atmosphere and stunning views is sure to become a summer favorite for competitive racers and families alike!
