When: Saturday, October 7th
Race starts at 8:00 am
Bib pick-up will be race morning from 6:00 - 7:30 am.
Where: Pleasant Mountain East Lodge - 296 Mountain Road, Bridgton, ME 04009
Cost: $60 / person (includes t-shirt (sign up by 9/14 to guarantee a shirt!), medal, and a beer from Fluvial Brewing) - All proceeds benefit Loon Echo Land Trust, a non-profit that works to conserve land in the Lakes Region, including Pleasant Mountain

The Course

Almost immediately, participants will be faced with 1700’ of climbing in 2 miles up Bald Peak. The course will then stop short of the summit and head back down to the base, via Firewarden’s trail. Participants will then partially circumnavigate around the base to the Southwest Ridge Trailhead, where they will face another 1900’ of gain in 2.5 miles. After reaching the summit, the course will take individuals across the northern ridge, and then down the technical Sue’s Way trail. This connects back to Bald Peak, which will take participants down to Mountain rd and to the finish. The course starts and finishes at the Pleasant Mountain East Lodge.

Aid Stations

There will be one aid station on the course. This will be located at the Southwest Ridge Trailhead. We will have various sweet and salty snacks as well as water and Tailwind. Keep in mind that this is a grassroots event and items at the aid station will rely on the help of the community. Please consider helping participants by bringing something to the race.
