New Race Organizer, Same Scenic and Challenging Race!
This spring, the GFTR race organizers passed the torch to Onion River Outdoors, a gear shop and community events organizer based in Montpelier. We are excited to host this well-loved race and carry on the tradition of fun, community support, and excellent racing that the Groton Forest Trail Run is known for. Thank you, Alison Donovan and Jill Sudhoff-Guerin, for your cultivation of this event and your trust in us.
To ensure that we can maintain the quality of the GFTR, for this first year, we will be offering the 25k and the 12k. We look forward to bringing back the marathon next year.
