About the Race
Join us for an unforgettable running adventure through the stunning landscapes of Roosevelt State Park. This challenging yet rewarding race will take you on a journey through rolling hills, lush forests, and along the shores of sparkling Shadow Lake. Choose from 2 distances: the invigorating 7 mile course or the epic 14 mile challenge.
Every step you take will contribute to preserving the natural beauty of Roosevelt State Park. Proceeds from the Rolling Hill Revival will benefit the Friends of Roosevelt State Park supporting vital park initiatives.

Race Details
Roosevelt State Park charges a $2.00 per person day use fee that must be paid at the entrance. The gate is unmanned until 8 am but day use fees can be deposited in the honor box (cash).
Races start and finish at the ball field located across from the main park office.
Race day packet pickup begins at 6:30 am
14 Miler starts at 7:30 am
7 Miler starts at 8:00am.
Runners 10 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult throughout the run.
Course Information
Course is mostly natural surface single track with a couple of small sections of paved or gravel roads. The 7.0 mile loop will challenge you with nearly 700ft of elevation. Each runner must complete the entire course as it is designed and stay on the route to qualify for awards. Short cutting across trails is not allowed and will result in DQ if discovered or reported. Please stay on course!
Park Information
Roosevelt State Park has two improved campgrounds with water, electricity, and sewer that are currently under renovation but will be open well before the event. The park also has a primitive campground for those interested in tent camping. The park also has a 20 room hotel right across the street from the ball field. Unfortunately the campground opening has been delayed and camping will not be an option for this year.
We are getting close to 50 registrants, the 1st 50 will be entered into a drawing for an annual park pass!
Awards
Each distance will feature opportunities to win. Please note that if you start as a 14-mile runner and drop down during the race, you will not be eligible for awards. There are no participation medals for this race.

Packet Pickup
Early packet pickup will be at Fleet Feet Flowood from 4-6 PM on Friday, 6 December. Packet pickup will be available race day just make sure to get there early.
Food and Drinks
All participants will have access to water and sports drink in the coolers as well as trail mix, fruit and other snack items.
Roosevelt State Park is also hosting the Santa on Wheels Car Show beginning at 10am on the 7th so food trucks will be available for those looking for lunch.
