Due to the Coronavirus I have capped my entrants to where they stood on March 21, and have started a "waitlist" typical of a normal waitlist here on Ultrasignup. What this does is it still allows runners to enter, but the credit card is NOT charged. If the race does not happen because of this gumboo, it's like a 100% refund. For those who have now entered the Speedgoat races, you will receive a comp entry in either of the next two years....if the C-virus turns off the race. THE SPEEDGOAT 50K/SHORT COURSE IS STILL ON!!! Our race is capped at 700, and we currently have 134 people signed up, so it's unlikely it's gonna fill, so now go enter and have something to focus on. If it's not happening, everyone still wins..
REGISTRATION CLOSES JULY 10 2020
Don't be "that guy" that asks me to get in the race AFTER registration closes. I'm gonna say no.
Speedgoat 50k and 28k "short course"
This 50k race consists of 11,800 of total climbing. The race is all above 7600', wth the majority above 9200'. This the most technical race east and west of Snowbird Ski Resort. Rocky, Rooty, snowy, very steep hills, even steeper descents, all over nasty, wet rocky terrain. If you like a fast 50k or fast 28k, this race is NOT for you. Needless to say, there is nothing easy about it. Please train adequately for this event. We do not do refunds, so stay healthy and prepare for a fine run through the wildflowers, and one nasty creekbed or two.
