Course Description

Enjoy some of the best trails and scenery Davis County, Utah has to offer. The DC Peaks 50 is a point to point ultra marathon that will have you breathing heavy through a big smile. This 50 mile race is fun! It starts at Wilderness Park in Kaysville and takes you on an adventure of trails (71%), service roads (24%), and 2.5 miles of paved road. You’ll hit a sweet climb on the Great Western Trail, go through some of the most popular hiking trails in Mueller Park, and end at Tunnel Springs Park in North Salt Lake.

We guarantee it beats lying on the couch all day! It’s a tough course with approx 10’490’ of vertical gain and 10,194’ of descent - it’s designed to take you along trails with the best views in the area. The elevation range is from 4,657’ to 9,361’. This race was designed by ultra runners who felt Davis County needed a 50 miler. Many things make this course badass - A great course, fantastic people, live footage of the race on YouTube, and live runner tracking. See you kids in October!

The 55K is an awesome way to enjoy most of the beautiful trails that make up the 50 miler. This race starts off with a nice, tough climb to Bountiful Peak and then you come bombing back down one of our favorites trails called Zig Zag. You then finish the race like the 50 miler by making your way to Mueller Park and up our fan favorite trail towards the Summerwood Aid Station and then down to the finish line at Tunnel Springs Park! Approximately 7,800’ of vertical gain.

If 50 miles isn't quite your cup of tea then come enjoy running these beautiful trails that make up the 55K. The start time is 7AM at an LDS Church: 270 300 E, Centerville, UT 84014. The start time for the 25K is 10AM- just before the entrance of Mueller Park Canyon in Bountiful. The 25K will be the same last 15 miles as the other two races. Enjoy the beautiful Fall colors and a perfectly groomed trail filled with gradual climbs and undulations. There will be one aid station for the 25Kers. Approximately 2,238’ of vertical gain.
