No Course Marking
Ok y'all. . .this is 2027. We have the means to put any course and follow directions from your watch via gpx file. As a steward of the trail, leaving flagging/ribbons/trash out on the course is a pet peeve of mine. No matter how many sweepers we have and me myself have gone out to sweep sections of the course post race. . .there's still flagging that gets left out there somehow. I don't like that. So I will mark major intersections/parts where the course crosses intersections more than once, but the rest of the navigation is up to you to follow. The GPX will be available for you to see, download and send to your watch. I will have instructions for how to do that or you can do what everyone else does and Google it, watch a YouTube video and figure it out.
If you take a few wrong turns, have to double back a couple times. . .well that's just part of the experience. :)
I'm talking to Garmin and Coros about partnering to provide some discounts to participants so if you don't have a watch that can do that, now's the time to get one!
Requirements
I'm not going to have a race requirement to qualify. Just know that this shouldn't be your first 100 miler unless you want to suffer. Many racers for the 2025 race said it was absolutely harder than Bear and many said harder than Wasatch. So take that into consideration. I'm not gonna complain if you wanna pay 300 bucks to run the first 50k but I'd rather you come prepared and ready to hit all the peaks along the way!
Crewing/Pacers
Crews will be allowed, will just need to follow race rules or will subject their runner to possible disqualification. Please use the tracker and show up 10 min before your runner gets to the aid station to avoid congestion. Some aid stations have little to no parking so you can’t camp out there all day/night. There’s plenty of places to hang out while waiting that’s not the aid station.
Check the runner's guide on the website for all the juicy details.
Registration
Registration for 2027 will open on 11/1/2026 and go til filled. Wait list if necessary.
Full Refund (minus Ultrasignup fee) through 4/31/26
No refunds after that.
No rollovers. Full policy on website.
