Course Info - Subject to Change!

The 5K and 10 mile will have the same start/finish line, with the 5K runners turning around at the 2ish mile point with another 1 mile back to the finish line. Leashed dogs are welcome on the course.

The 10 mile course is going to be out-and-back.
The route will be on grass, dirt, and paved trail. The hilliest section is the first mile when you'll ascend the grass Cross trail. The route will then go through the Cross/Flow trails, onto either the dirt single track or the paved Clear Creek Trail (again, depending on conditions). We don't want to trash the dirt single track. The trail goes under Deer Creek Rd. This is where the 5K runners will turn and head back to the finish.

After going under Deer Creek Rd, the 10 mile route will continue onto the paved Clear Creek trail briefly before hopping onto the dirt single track of Woodpecker trail, going to the Tom Harkin trailhead area with an aid station including toilets. 10 milers will continue on Woodpecker Trail back to the start line. This is preliminary and subject to change.

Aid Stations: There will be water and snacks at the start/finish. There are flush toilets and running water at the start/finish.
Here is an estimated map of the 10 mile route:
