What is the Cache Slam?
The Cache Slam is a challenge involving the combined times of each of the region's trail ultras/trail marathons: Logan Peak, White Pine 50 & the Bear 100. These three races are intertwined by geography: Logan Peak is also the storied start of the Bear 100, and White Pine shares the trail with the middle of the Bear 100. Each race also compliments the other on the calendar as a training opportunity for the next one.
Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finisher, and participation awards to any others who complete the slam in a single calendar year.
How do I participate?
1. Get into the Bear 100
2. Sign up for Logan Peak and the White Pine 50 before they fill up
(or at least be in a viable spot on the waitlists of each race).
3. Register here for the Cache Slam at no cost this inaugural year!
4. Run your fastest in each of the events.
5. Collect your prize at the Bear Finish Line.
Note: NO special consideration will be given to Cache Slammers to get into any of the three races.
Doesn't a "Slam" suggest four races?
We may add another race to the Cache Slam at some future point.
