This is the 21st year this race has been running! Come join the celebration! We love seeing you achieve success and having fun along the way. It's a beautiful course along the river and through the woods, to get your piggy medal!

As stated on the website, this isn't the best course for your first 50K, there is little support and the weather can get nasty. Usually the people who do try for their first 50k will drop to a lesser distance or they will come in 2 hours past the cut off. The cut off is strictly 2:30pm. This is for your safety and our sanity.
But not to say don't go for it, if you are prepared for the distance and you want to run your first 50K with us, sign up for the 50K. We will happily support you!
This is a low cost/low support race. Don't expect the moon but expect a great time with great volunteers and other great runners.
