The premier 50K trail race in the Southeast, the Rock/Creek StumpJump 50K presented by The North Face, takes place on lollipop 90% single-track course atop Signal Mountain and Walden Ridge. With gorgeous, jaw dropping views of the Tennessee River Gorge, and lush coves of cascading streams, hemlock, and rhododendron, these sandstone-strewn trails offer some of the most spectacular scenery in the Cumberland Plateau region. This race is in its 17th running and has stood the test of time with locals and runners from across the world.

This is a perfect course for someone doing their first or 500th ultra.

The 50k race is a lollipop with 95% single track and about 4,500 ft of gain and the same loss. It has a great mix of technical, flat, rolling hills and climbing.
The 10 miler is a loop that is 95% single track as well. It is technical in parts and rolling hills with no more than 1500 ft of gain. JOIN US!

Packet Pickup

WHAT: Pre-Race Packet Pickup For 50k and 10 miler

WHEN: Friday, September 29, 2017
WHERE: Rock/Creek North Shore
TIME: 4-7 We will have beer and a fun hangout so come say HEY and ask all the questions you'd like!

Race day Packet Pick up will be from 6:15-7:15 am Saturday September 30th for the 50k only at the start/finish
10 miler will be from 7:30-8:15 at the start/finish

Cutoff Times

The 2017 Stump Jump 50K will have a 10 HOUR cut-off limit with various aid station cutoffs
The 10 miler will be 4 hours

There are no refunds, transfers or deferments. We do not have the capacity to mail awards, shirts, forgotten gear etc. Thank you for understanding.
