Important Update

This event is NOT sold out.

Due to the uncertainty with COVID-19 we have made registration for this event a waitlist only because we feel it is irresponsible to continue to collect registration fees. We have no plans to cancel or reschedule this event and the event is not sold out as this page suggests. If the race goes on as planned, you will receive an email from Ultrasignup asking you to accept the invitation to register for this race. No money will be collected until you accept this registration. Please continue to check back for updates!

Cupless Events

In an effort to continually lessen our race footprint, we are expanding our cupless events to the Desert Runner Trail Series. We will have UltrAspire reusable cups available at registration and on race day or feel free to bring your own!

Inaugural Pass Mountain 50 Mile!

The Pass Mountain Trail Runs will now include a 50 mile option that will have runners explore the little known but incredibly beautiful Goldfield Mountains, the super fun and windy Hawes Trail system via the Maricopa Trail, and still get to climb its namesake, the Pass Mountain trail, before returning to Usery Mountain Regional Park 50 miles later. Be a part of year one with us and explore some of these new trails!

Course Summary

Features winding trails throughout Usery Mountain Regional Park on the edge of the Goldmine Mountain Range. The 50km and 25km runners will run through Usery Mountain Park and then out into the Tonto National Forest, over the Pass Mountain Trail. 10Km and 5km runners will stay on trails within Usery Mountian Park.

Desert Runner Trail Series

The Pass Mountain Trail Run is the second race in the Aravaipa Running Desert Runner Trail Fall Series. The Desert Runner Trail Series now has four point divisions: Quail (short), Roadrunner (middle), Owl (Trail) and Hawk (Ultra). The 5km race will score points in the "short" series while the 10km will score towards the "middle" series. The 25km race at Pass Mountain will score points in the "Trail Series" while the 50km race will score points in the "Ultra Series".
