An incredible buckle will be given at no additional charge to all those achieving 100 miles in the 30 hours, but that does not win the race; it is most miles achieved in 30 hours. One Pacer is allowed per runner, if requested, at a cost of $25, only after 24 hours or 8:30 AM Sunday July 1st, they must register and sign the waiver, this allows them to hydration, food and insurance coverage. Pacers must check in on Sunday morning for the wristband, anyone using a unauthorized Pacer will be disqualified from the race. The course is a slightly rolling roots and rocky terrain, that is very doable, but will become monotonous, as time goes by on a 2.22 mile circuitous route. The average miles by winners of the 9 hour race was 50 miles in 9 hours.
