Race Description
Welcome to the 15th annual Yankee Springs Winter Challenge! This race is run on beautiful rolling single track trails at Yankee Springs, State Recreation Area in Southwest Michigan. We run in whatever conditions Michigan winter gives us, and it's a different challenge every year. Distances are 5k, 10k, 25k, and 50k. The 5k,10k, and 25k are single loops. The 50k is 2 laps of the 25k. Aid stations for the 10k, 25k, and 50k are between 2 and 4 miles apart.
Lodging
Cabins are no longer available for the winter race due to a management change at the Long Lake Outdoor Center. There are several hotels nearby including the Bay Point Inn and the Gun Lake Casino..
Race Swag and Finisher Awards
A crew neck sweatshirt or buff is included in the race fee. Please register by December 8 to be guaranteed a sweat shirt. The finisher's award, unique to this winter race, is a snow globe.
