Join us this May for what trail runners everywhere have deemed a "MUST DO" and "BUCKET LIST" run! Each distance takes runners on a beautiful and unforgettable adventure through Grayson Highlands State Park. This run has a little bit of everything, and is the perfect mix of fun, safe, and challenging! As with all Run Bum Races, we recommend runners register early, as we do sell out quickly! Once the spots are gone, they're gone!
Quick Facts
The 50 Mile has 9,500 ft of climbing and 17.5 hour cutoff
The 50k has 5000 ft of climbing and 11 hour cutoff
The Half Marathon has 3,000 ft of gain and 6 hour cutoff
The 8 mile has 1,400 ft gain and 4 hour cutoff
As with all of our mountain/ultra/trail races, we like to say that the distances are "ish". Everyone's GPS reads differently, and our mapping software might be slightly different than what you actually run. That's just part of the fun of trail running. The goal of the event is to experience the incredible scenic beauty and not to hit an exact distance.
FRIDAY: Packet Pickup 4-8PM (non-mandatory, pre-race packet pickup also available race day morning)
SATURDAY: 50 Mile begins at 5:30AM / 50k begins at 7:30AM
SUNDAY: HALF & 8 Mile begin at 8:00AM

Within 90 days of event, there are NO REFUNDS, BIB TRANSFERS OR DEFERMENTS! Before 90 days, runners may receive half credit towards another Run Bum Race of equal or lesser value, good for one year. Complete details and answers to FAQ can be found at RunBumTours.com/faq
Course and race details are always subject to change.
We do not mail out any swag that is ordered and not picked up from the race. You may have a friend pick up your shirt for you if you ordered one! All shirts not picked up will be donated to our race volunteers and state park staff.
