The 60KM distance is capped at 250 participants & the 10KM & 20KM distances are capped at 250 participants.

The Shuswap Ultra is is a two day trail running event that hosts 60KM runners on Saturday, September 24, 2022 and 10KM & 20KM runners on Sunday, September 25, 2022 in the gorgeous Shuswap, British Columbia.

The 60KM distance starts at Klahani Park in Salmon Arm and brings racers into the inviting South Canoe trail system where they will journey into the Larch Hills Traverse to experience a variety of ecosystems, each offering their own unique character. Through out the day, runners are rewarded with forests, fens, fresh single track and remarkable viewpoints overlooking Shuswap & Mara lake(s). The final decent brings runners down fast, flowing switchbacks and into unique private trails on Splatsin First Nation land. The finish line is a short jaunt on Old Spallumcheen road and into the impressive lake front Hyde Mountain Golf Resort. The 60KM distance is a point to point event; racers will have the option to 'add on' shuttle for travel back to Klahani Park or have the option to secure their own means of transportation.

The 20KM & 10KM distances showcase the gorgeous and established cross county ski area & will start and finish at Larch Hills Nordic Chalet. Runners will weave through pristine single track & a variety of forest, including jaw dropping older growth cedar and hemlock. 20KM runners will continue on to the infamous, super cute & intimate Cec's Cabin while the 10KM participants will begin the subtle decent to the finish line and back to the gorgeous Chalet.


The Shuswap Ultra, hosted by Lewiston Ultra Events is inspired by community. The Shuswap Ultra is inclusive and supports all levels of runner; those new to trail running, those looking to complete their first ultra and the seasoned runner that is training to crush a fast course .

The Shuswap Ultra gives back to Shuswap Trail Alliance, Shuswap Search & Rescue, Larch Hills Nordic Society & other community/volunteer organizations and shareholders.


All distances are $125 CDN (+GST & UltraSignup fee).

60KM RACERS ONLY: participants have the option to 'add on' a $20.00 transportation fee for shuttle return to Klahani Park (start line) from Hyde Mountain Golf Resort (finish line). Transportation fee is non-refundable and cannot be purchased once registration is complete. *This is a point to point course; transportation from the finish line is not included in the registration fee & must be purchased separately.

Participants must be 19 years of age or older on race day

Registration is transferable until 8am on September 7, 2022 for a $20 administration fee. There are no transfers after 8am on September 7, 2022 – no exceptions. Distance changes are accepted until 8am on September 7, 2022. If you have to change your distance after 8am on September 7, 2022, it will not be reflected on your racer bib.

Registration will close September 7, 2022 @ 8am or when the race fills; whichever comes first.

Participants who successfully finish their race will receive a Shuswap Ultra finishers medal by local artist, Rider’s Rustic Woodworking (

Top female & male 10KM, 20KM & 60KM finishers will be awarded custom paintings by Kelowna artist, Nathan Karsgaard of Folk & Wild.

All participants will complete an online waiver in the registration process.

All participants will acknowledge, accept & understand the Lewiston Ultra Events COVID-19 Safety Protocol.

Lewiston Ultra Events has print and social media rights to use all photographs, videos, etc taken of participants, volunteers, crews, community, etc during the course of events listed in the Schedule of Events without compensation to the person/person(s).
