Description
The East Texas Ultra is a 50K, 28K, 14K, and 7K trail run in the beautiful trails in East Texas at Lake Bob Sandlin State Park. This is the race for you if you're looking for a scenic trail run through the shady tall pine trees. The route runs through the piney trails and along the water of Lake Bob Sandlin.
Championship Ticket
The Top 10 Males and Top 10 Females that run the 50K will qualify for the Texas Ultra 100K Championship taking place on Nov 18th in Georgetown TX for a chance to win thousands of dollars and the Texas Ultra Championship Title.
Race Information
Saturday:
- 6:00 AM Packet Pickup Opens
- 7:00 AM 50K & 28K Start
- 7:30 AM 7K & 14K Start
- 7:30 AM Packet Pickup Closes
- 5:00 PM is the cut-off time for all races
Race Rules
50K - Seven loops
28K - Four loops
14K - Two loops
7K - One loop
This is a cupless race. We will have water refill stations to refill your own bottles and cups.
No littering.
Use trail etiquette.
What You Get
Every runner will get a Craft Sportswear East Texas Ultra T-shirt, race photos, a very memorable race experience, and a good time with new people and stories to tell. All finishers will receive a finisher award. We will have aid station food and supplies at this event at the main tent. The winner of each distance will get a first-place trophy for both males and females. The last person to finish each distance will get a DFL award... "dead freakin last"
