Buying a Bib/Transfers
With the race being full, you can only get in by buying a bib from someone. Head to our Lost Soul Ultra private Facebook page and follow the "Bib Sales" thread.
-Bibs cannot be sold for more than their value.
-First, the bib is transferred via Ultrasignup and then the money is e-transferred to the seller.
-You can downgrade the distance at no charge (but no refund).
-To upgrade distance 100k to 100mile, purchase the upgrade through www.lostsoulultra.com
-To upgrade 50k to 100k/100mile, you can request it but we need someone dropping down to open a spot (possibly in late summer).
The race is held in the Oldman River valley of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. One lap is 54 km with approximately 1,200 m (3,600') of elevation change. Most of the hills will be in the range of 50-80m (150-250') in size and you will hit about 16 of those in one lap.
Local time: 3:41 AM
Two events start on Friday morning:
- 100 mile (33-hour cutoff completing 3 laps)
- 100 km (21-hour cutoff completing 2 laps minus Leg 1 on final lap)
Note: The 100 km event is one of the few Western States Endurance Run (WSER) qualifiers in North America (WSER requires you to finish under 21 hours). In addition, 100 mile racers can earn a WSER qualification if they finish 2 laps (107 km) under 21 hours AND they finish 3 laps (100 miles) in 33 hours.
The 50 km event (actually closer to 54 km) starts on Saturday morning (11-hour cutoff completing one lap).
The toughest race on the prairies (and voted “best aid stations in the universe”) includes an awesome racer garment, finisher ROCK, and one awards breakfast ticket for Sunday.
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age on race day.
*All racers must be fully vaccinated along with adherence to all Heath Authority rules and regulations. Volunteers and crews/spectators in the aid zones must also be fully vaccinated. Race Directors may require additional safety measures.
