Big News….The Long Haul 100 has moved! The 2024 race will be held in Colt Creek State Park in Lakeland, FL. The Colt Creek State Park features beautiful trails maintained by the park staff. Runners will travel through "longleaf pine flatwoods, thick cypress domes, and open vistas. This park is home to many species of plants and animals - including bald eagles, white-tailed deer, American alligators, otters, gopher tortoise, and Sherman’s fox squirrel". We are still tweaking the course, but it will still be fast and flat. Although change can be very hard, we are confident you will really love the new Long Haul 100 at Colt Creek State Park.
ALL 100 Mile finishers will receive a belt buckle and those who finish in under 30 hours will also earn a ticket into the WSER lottery.

Other Details:
The course will now be 6 x 16.6 mile loops. There are 3 fully manned Aid Stations and access to your drop bags every loop. Course cut-off is 32 hours (To qualify for WSER - 30-hour cut-off).
100 furlongs = 12.5 miles. The course will be an abbreviated loop from the 100 mile race.
Colt Creek State Park is about 1 hr 5 min from the Tampa Airport and 1 hr 25 min from the Orlando Airport.

Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick-Up for the 100 miler is Friday, Jan 12, 2024, from 2 pm-7 pm at the pavilion near Mac Lake in Colt Creek State Park. There will be an optional pre-race meeting at 5:00 pm on Friday, followed by a pre-race pasta dinner. All registered runners are invited to eat for free on Friday evening. Tickets are available for crew and/or family members during registration.
100 Furlongs participants - You may pick up your packet on Saturday from 9:15 am - 10:00 am in the pavilion near Mac Lake
Pacer Information
Runners may have a pacer join them after loop 4. Anyone 60 years old or older may have a pacer at any time. All pacers must sign a waiver. Click on the link below to register.

No Refund Policy
The Long Haul 100 does not have a refund policy. However, registered runners can earn a "rollover credit". This option is a 65% credit towards the following year. If you need to defer to the following year, the order edit screen can be accessed via the Edit link in your registration history. Participants who choose this option need to re-register for the race the following year and then their credit will be waiting at checkout.
