We just received word from our friends at the Pa. Dept Natural Resources that our modified MuleSkinner Endurance Series Course have been approved!! Race On!!! We'll be posting a map of this years course shortly but it's basically a throw back to our first MuleSkinner Endurance Series which will have the runners running on both the Pa.& Nj Delaware canal towpaths. Unfortunately, we will not be offering the 100K race this year due to difficulties in working a suitable 100K course into the mix with the various bridge and towpath wash outs from last years storm..
All runners who registered for last years 2021 MuleSkinner races will receive a 100% off registration code which they can apply to this years 2022 race of the same distance they signed up for in 2021. We cannot guarantee deferral to the 2023 MuleSkinner races so get it while the gettin is good!
We expect a very large turnout this year so we strongly encourage runners to register early if they want to ensure entry into this years MuleSkinner.
Registration for all races opens April 4th and Closes Sept 30
50 Miler Starts 5am 14 hr cutoff. 50K Starts 6am 8 hr cutoff. Marathon Starts 7am 6.5 hr
All runners finishing within the allotted finish times will receive a custom MuleSkinner Medal for their distance completed and a MuleSkinner tech running shirt. Top 3 Women and Men finishers will receive separate special awards.
Last finisher of the 50 mile race who finishes within the allotted time frame will be presented with the coveted Stubborn Mule Award. Medals and top three finishers' awards will be awarded as runners complete their races.
Local Lodging & Camping
There are numerous fantastic B&Bs near the race as well as many AirBnB options.
Nearby towns are Frenchtown, Tinicum (Bucks County), Erwinna, Upper Black Eddy, New Hope, Doylestown, Buckingham, Stockton and Point Pleasant (Pa).
Runners wishing to camp onsite the night before the race may find camping sites at Tinicum Park the night before the race. The camping area is 100 yards away from the Start & Finish Line. These are not RV sites…just really sweet tent sites!

Supporting local nonprofits who work to preserve the special landscapes that we hold our races in is a key element in all Spirit Trips races. These non-profits' ongoing efforts to preserve and protect the scenic beauty and historic character of the canals and tow paths is commendable and deserving of our support. A portion of all race registration fees will be donated to these organizations and we encourage all participants to do what they’re able to beyond our donations. These organizations are truly worth it.

The MuleSkinner endurance races welcomes the assistance of volunteers who may not want to run but just want to be part of the energy and fun.
