Wow... Recent registrations have exceeded expectations, so we may not be able to guarantee we have enough tech shirts for everyone. But we will have something special for all late entries.

General Description

The Broadway Ultra Society (BUS) is pleased to announce the initial running of the Queens 60 Kilo race to be held at Alley Pond Park on Sunday, November 20. The starting time will be around 9:00 AM.

This probably will be the last event under the Broadway Ultra Society marquee.

There will also be a corresponding 30-kilometer event. You do not have to declare beforehand what distance you are doing.

More Details

There will be a warming shelter adjacent to the staging area. Each course loop will be 5 kilometers. There is a significant uphill (and later a downhill) at the beginning of the loop, and the rest of the track is rolling.

Suggest you come dressed to run. There will be restroom facilities near the Start/Finish Area at the Park Field house. There also will be two other restroom facilities accessible on the race loop in the Alley Picnic and Alley Springfield areas.

One aid station per loop (at this time) providing water, Gatorade, defizzed cola, food snacks and medical supplies.

TIME LIMIT: The event will shut down at 5:00 PM. Please be advised all race services will shut down at that time (will be dark then).

Distinctive awards to top Male and Female 60K finishers. An award to each finisher in the 30K or 60K.

Post Race refreshments will be served to runners and their guests after the event near the Start/Finish Area.

Final Instructions

A full Information Sheet and manual Entry Form can be downloaded on the NYUR Site. If you register on-line on Ultra Signup select the 60K race, but you can change your mind when you finish the 1st six loops.
