How far will you go
Get ready to test your endurance at the Icebox event, a timed challenge that allows you to accumulate as many miles as possible on a beautiful single-track course before time runs out. Choose between a 4-hour or 8-hour challenge and start anytime between 6:00 am and 8:00 am. In the race's final hour, you'll have the option to tackle a 1-mile loop (1.05, actually) to push yourself even further. This event is an excellent opportunity to test stamina and explore the park's beautiful trails. Whether you're a seasoned runner or new to the sport, we hope you'll join us for the Icebox challenge.
Race Day Schedule
Registration opens: 5:30 am
Starting time range: 6:00 am - 8:00 am
Because of the single-track course, we have opted for a time range start over a group start. This start allows runners to find their own pace instead of being stuck behind or ahead of another runner.
800 Whitetail Blvd., River Falls, WI 54022
The Icebox course is just across the border from the Twin Cities east down highway 94.
Before you begin, you will record your start time on the large display board next to your name with a provided marker. As you return from your loop, you are responsible for tracking it on the display boards.
When you finish, be it on your own or when your 480/240 minutes are complete, you will record your finish time on the display board.
1 Mile loop
We are bringing back the 1-mile loop (1.05, actually). Only when you have an hour remaining on your time can you start the 1-mile loop.
Event's current local time: 2:16 AM CT
