The Event
Welcome to the 12th Annual Wambaw Swamp Stomp! Join us!
Operating on the same course from 2023, the event has participants running up the Swamp Fox Passage. 50k runners complete a 15 mile out and back and then once returning to the starting area, you run .5 miles down a dirt road and back to earn that extra 1 mile! 50 mile runners do one 15 mile out and back and then a shorter 10 mile out and back to get 50 miles.
Aid Stations are placed roughly every 5 miles apart. There are 3 Aid Stations on the course.
If you finish the event in the time required, you will receive the Wambaw Swamp Stomp Finisher Award.
At each Aid Station, all solo runners are required to check in!
Time Cut Off: 50 mile runners have a 14 hour cut off and 50k runners have a 10 hour cut off to be considered “OFFICIAL” Finishers
Packet Pickup: Morning of the event at the START/FINISH AREA (Witherbee Ranger Station, 2421 Witherbee Road, Cordesville, SC 29434) from 0600-0630.
No refunds are offered if you can't make the event. I will allow you to move the entry to a future event or any of the events I direct. Event has to be of equal or lesser value. If you select an event with a different price point, you have to pay the difference prior to the event.
