No 2022 race!
This race will NOT be held in 2022, but is being replaced with a new race (also through Ultrasignup) called "My First 50".

We will grill food all night, I ask that people bring snacks to share if you can. I will provide all grilling foods, water, Tailwind and coffee.
Male and female winners with the most miles will receive free entry into another Happy Cat Events race. I will have finisher medals for 50k, 50 mile and 100k as well, but that is it for awards.
T-shirts can be ordered separate from registration if you want one. They are not included in the registration fee. I will have a limited number of extras available the night of the race.

You CAN set up tents, etc but not until 6pm on race day.
You can have support people with you at the start finish area. There will be picnic tables, open areas, shelter, restrooms at this spot.
Deadline to order T-shirts if you did not already is October 25
I will provide water and Tailwind (from a dispensing cooler so bring a bottle) at the start/finish area and approx halfway through the loop. I will try and have cups at the halfway point.
The loop is 3.7 miles.
There will be an option to add no more than 2x an out an back section (totaling 1.2 miles each) to get to a mileage goal. You CANNOT do this more than 2x and only when you are done with full laps.
If there is dangerous weather, all running will be suspended during the event until it passes. The event will go on in the rain..
In the start finish area I will provide fresh coffee all night, coffee creamer, water, Tailwind, mini Cliff bars, a few gels, Halloween candy and weather permitting, charcoal, hamburger and hot dog buns and meat and black bean burgers, condiments. No alcohol is allowed in the Warhill Sports Complex area
Trail Description
The trail is similar to a fire road, wide enough for a gator to drive through. The surface is crushed rock with some uneven sections and possibly slippery bridges. Terrain is rolling. The course will be lit with glow sticks, but personal illumination is required. Each loop is 3.7 miles.
