ANNOUNCEMENT
The 2020 Jordan Lake 12 Hour Challenge has been cancelled due to current gathering restrictions. If you have not already, please contact Jerry Lux at racedirector@chathamkids.org to process a refund or to convert your payment into a donation to Chatham Partnership for Children. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to 2021!
How much distance can you cover in 6 or 12 hours? Come and find out! With both team and individual competitions, and a choice between 6 hours and 12 hours, there is a challenge that fits almost everyone.
The USATF certified loop course is 1.35 miles on old road bed and trail with glimpses of the lake. Every 1.35 miles you'll pass the aid station with cheerful volunteers, cold drinks and more! You can also set up your own aid in the same area. The course and headquarters are located within the NC Forest Service's Jordan Lake Educational State Forest.
Please visit our website to see our 2019 video, photos from previous years, and awards categories.
Proceeds from the race benefit young children in central North Carolina through the programs of Chatham County Partnership for Children.
