Come explore the hills that once brought gold prospectors out to the desert in search of new fortunes! Join us for our inaugural ride of this exciting race. Choose from our relay or solo divisions, with a distance to fit riders of all calibers. All rides will start and finish at Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa, AZ, with the iconic Superstitions looming in the background.

Course Summary

Tonto Mountain Rides will feature trails in Usery Mountain Regional park and for the 30 & 50 mile riders some of the trails in the Hawes Trail System. The 30 & 50 mile are recommended for intermediate and advanced riders only as there are some steep & technical trails included. We are working with the Tonto National Forest on a possible re-route before race day to improve flow on some recently approved trails. Stay tuned!

Start Times and Race Day Schedule

Please arrive early to park, check in and spin out prior to your ride. Restroom facilities are located at the start/finish area.

6:00 AM – Bib pickup / race day registration begin
6:45 AM - 100 Mile Relay Start  Duo | Trio | Quad
7:00 AM - 50 Mile Start
7:15 AM – 30 Mile Start
7:30 AM - 20 Mile Start
8:00 AM - 10 Mile Start

Relay Teams

Relay teams are comprised of two, three, or four riders on a single team who complete laps one at a time for their team. You decide who rides which laps and how many. Riders may elect to ride more than one loop in a row, but switching between riders may be done only in the transition zone at the start/finish area.
