VIRTUAL Last Runner Standing
Who will be the LAST RUNNER STANDING?
With the postponement of The Last Runner Standing to November, we are offering this VIRTUAL event on the original race date! Registration is free and anyone can register! You can run the Virtual race even if you are still planning to run the official event in November or deferring your race entry to the 2021 race. The VIRTUAL race will be begin at 10:00 a.m. Central Time on Saturday June 6 and each runner will have exactly one hour to complete the 4.17 mile (6.7 KM) loop. If a runner fails to return within the hour, they are eliminated from the race. Runners can complete the course at whatever pace they choose, but they MUST finish the race and be ready to start the next race within 60 minutes. A new 4.17 mile race will begin at the top of the hour every hour on the hour until only one runner is left standing. If a runner fails to make it to the start line at the top of the hour, that runner is eliminated.
Runners will be able to choose their own 4.17 mile route and maintain social distancing while on the run. You can choose to run outside on your own 4.17 mile loop or do an out and back to make setting the exact distance easier. You may also run on an indoor loop or out and back or your treadmill. Race directors, Andy and Kim Holak will be streaming live from the race course at Spirit Mountain as they complete their own Last Holak Standing!
