This ‘cleaner-greener’ back country circuit through Los Padres National Forest’s Blue Canyon offers 50k, 50m, 100k course options in a diverse mix of terrain and altitude – gaining upwards of 10,000 to nearly 20,000 ft., with spectacular views of reservoirs, mountains and ocean. Hosted at Rancho Oso, just 30 minutes from Santa Barbara Airport, the Blue Canyon Trail Race offers a family-friendly destination and competition.

Rancho Oso Guest Ranch is located in the Los Padre National Forest, 30 minutes north of downtown Santa Barbara (see www.rancho-oso.com for directions). Rancho Oso embodies the spirit of the old west with bunkhouse cabins and covered wagons, plus RV full hookup and tent camping sites. Steeped in a scenic valley, the ranch provides a family friendly and relaxing environment for racers, with clubhouse, pool, jacuzzi, playground, rec center, and more. Race headquarters, briefings and meals will be held at Rancho Oso’s Western Village. The Blue Canyon Trail Race® starts and finishes at Western Village.
