On Saturday, September 27, 2025, we will hold our next competitive trail race at Brushy Hills, a 600 acre watershed tract on the outskirts of Lexington, Virginia in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Brushy Hills is home to miles of trails, lovingly developed and maintained by the Friends of Brushy Hills, a group of volunteers affiliated with the Rockbridge Area Conservation Council (RACC).

The race will serve as a fund raiser for the Friends of Brushy Hills and the Rockbridge County High School, Parry McClure High School, and Maury River Middle School track and field and cross-country teams.

We will offer two race distances, a challenging nine mile course with over 2000 feet of vertical gain and a 4 mile course with about 500 feet of climbing. 100 percent of all courses will be on the awesome single-track of Brushy Hills.
