OK STATE WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA RULES: You MUST HAVE an Ok hunting or fishing license which costs $26, or a 3 day Conservation Pass for $15. Get these anywhere that sells hunting licenses or online at https://www.wildlifedepartment.com. In Erick, C&K Quick Stop sells them at 221 Roger Miller Blvd, Erick.

CAMPING: Primitive camping is free at the race HQ area at Sandy Sanders WMA. Camp in designated area only. Fires may be banned, so watch the DWD FB page for announcements. Primitive shower & portos are provided by DWD Fri - Mon.

TRAIL RUN INFO

COURSES: All run routes begin and end at the DoWackaDo North HQ. All runs are loops within the Sandy Sanders WMA. The trails are mostly graded ranch roads through 220 ft canyonlands. The 10 mile is one loop, the 20 mile 2 loops, 30 mile 3 loops, 40 mile 4 loops, 50 mile is 4 loops + 2 5 mile loops at the end.

The 5 mile is a loop that takes a cut-thru on the 10 mile mile loop.


AID STATIONS: There are AID STATIONS approximately every 3-4 miles (2.5 miles on the 5 mile). The Aid Stations will be stocked with water, gatorade, sweet and salty snacks. 

DROP BAG ZONE: Near the start/finish line. We will take drop bags to the second aid station for those who want.   

CUTOFF TIMES: 14.5 hrs cutoff (15.5 for early 50 mile starters). 50 milers must complete first 3 laps by 8:30 PM.

RUN AWARDS:  Awards given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the 5 mile, 10, 20, 30 40, and 50 mile runs (50 mile early starters will get official time and finisher medal but not eligible for top 3 M/F awards). Awards ceremonies will be held ad-hoc by the race officials as races finish for each distance.

FINISHER MEDALS: To all finishers of the 20, 30, 40, and 50 mile runs.

T-SHIRTS: Guaranteed with run & gravel ride registration if registered by August 17.  

GRAVEL BIKE RIDE INFO

GENERAL: Gravel Rides begin and end at the start/finish line - same as Saturday. Start time is 8 a.m..  The rides are self-supported with some rolling support.   Routes will be well marked.  Routes are scenic country roads with some moderately hilly terrain mostly clay loam base with fine gravel and blacktop. Rolling and stationary support but be prepared to take care of your own flats, minor repairs, liquids, nutrition; and minor first aid.

DISTANCES: 20, 40, and 60 Mile Routes.

AWARDS: 1st through 3rd male and female overall awards for the 40 and 60 mile rides.

T-SHIRTS: Guaranteed with run & gravel ride registration if registered by Aug 17th.
