Race Info!

We´re excited to present the 1st Annual Rec & Run 5K and Fun Run Trail Race at Chattahoochee Pointe Park brought to you by Forsyth County Parks and Rec and Presented by PEPSI. Race will start/finish next to the gravel parking lot.

Runners the Rec & Run 5K and Fun Run Registration is OPEN! Proceeds from this race will be going towards the Forsyth County Parks & Recreation Scholarship Fund to help provide Recreational Opportunities for those who need assistance. Please Note: We will have a cap on the 5K race of 250 Participants and a Participant Cap of 60 Participants in the Fun Run (Fun Run will be for kids under 12 and an inclusive option for those with special needs)! Both 5K and Fun Run Participants Will Receive a Race T-Shirt (NO GUARANTEE OF A SHIRT AFTER 2/26/2023 OR RACE DAY REGISTRATION). We are placing a cap on this event for 2 reasons... 1 parking availability, 2 getting that amount of runners into the woods.

Packet Pick Up!

PACKET PICKUP

Packet pickup will be the morning of the race starting at 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Race starts at 8:00 a.m. SHARP!

Race Course Info!

GPS unit measures course at 3.10 miles; Calibrated Bicycle Computer "wheel" measures course at 3.13 miles. Race will start on the hard packed gravel path (in the open field) then remain on the hard packed gravel running surface. The trail running surface is very smooth and super easy to navigate... the 3.10 milers will do 1 lap. The race will be run in a "counter clockwise direction". This course and venue is gorgeous! Be ready for some super fast PR's!
