About The Race
The
RRG 25K is the original, premier trail race in eastern Kentucky in recent years. Since 2015 it has been the pinnacle of ultra running in central Appalachia and Kentucky's ancient Red River Gorge.
Our races start and end at the Koomer Ridge Campground on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Course
The 25K course, mile for mile, is arguably one of the hardest races in the region. With all of the ups and downs the RRG 25K is truly beautifully brutal.

All activities take place at the Koomer Ridge Campground in Red River Gorge.
Start/Finish + Parking
Our start and finish line is at the amphitheater at Koomer Ridge Campground in Pine Ridge, Kentucky. Follow the signs at the entrance to the campground.
Parking is located inside the campground in the parking lot and along the sides of the road.
SWAG + Awards
All finishers receive a custom commemorative finisher award.
Top three men and top three women in each race receive a custom podium award.
Participants may add a commemorative tee shirt to their entry for just $5 if registered at least 30 days before the race. Participants registering within the last 30 days will not have the option to receive a commemorative shirt. Register early!
