*NOTE - YOU MUST REGISTER BY April 4th, 2025 TO BE GUARANTEED SHIRTS.

Get ready to ache on the lake! The On the Dam Trail is a 50K (34 mile) solo or relay race around the Quemahoning Reservoir. Sign up as a team of two or four, or if you are feeling brave, run it solo. The serene and wooded environment of Camp Harmony, Hooversville PA, serves as the registration, packet pick-up, and start/finish areas. Enjoy a shaded journey on a single track course through the rolling hills of south western Pennsylvania. The course traverses a few small stream crossings, occasional rocky terrain, and beautiful thick pine forests. The 50K course consists of two full loops around the dam.
Challenge your endurance with the full 50K (34 miles), a 30K (18 miles, or one of the shorter distances (10 or 7 mile legs) of the 4 person team. The total elevation change for 2 laps is around 3100 feet. Several aid stations and relay exchange points line the course to provide support during the race. If necessary, there are several road crossings, and road access at the halfway point, if you feel the need to abort the mission.
Race day check-in and day of registration begins at 7:00 am, with the race starting at 8:00 am.
Proceeds benefit local children who wish to attend Camp Harmony church camps, as well as promoting
the Johnstown Running Club’s goal of providing running and outdoor recreational opportunities in our
region. Camp Harmony will host a bonfire and campfire style foods after the run to celebrate your
accomplishments.
Tent camping areas and rustic cabins that sleep multiple people will be available to rent on Friday night
at Camp Harmony. The cabins are conveniently located approximately 100 yards of the start/finish line.
There are also restrooms and a shower house to use after the race. No need to ride home dirty!
