Bobcat Trail Race

Bobcat was created to feature one of Colorado Spring’s best city parks, Palmer Park. Runners will enjoy views of the city and Pikes Peak from the rocky bluffs. Come out and enjoy this amazing trail system, right in the heart of the city! Formerly a Mad Moose Event & graciously passed on to Aravaipa Running starting in 2024.

Mandatory Gear

Reusable Cup
Be sure to have your reusable cup handy at aid stations! Reusable cups are small, are no problem to carry along while running and will save thousands of paper cups from being used, trashed, and possibly blown away littering our beautiful trail. Aravaipa Usable Cups are available in the Bobcat UltraSignup Store

Course GPX File
Please have an offline course map downloaded on a personal device. The course will be clearly marked but you as the runner are ultimately responsible for your navigation. Course maps can be found on the Bobcat website.

Crews and Pacers

Crews
Crews are welcome to support their runners at the start/finish area. Spectators will be allowed at the start/finish area, but parking may be limited, so please carpool if you are able.

Pacers
No pacers allowed for any distances.

Drop Bags

All runners will be able to store a finish line drop bag at the finish area.

Training and Group Runs

Training
Join us at Palmer Park at 8am on September 21st for the 10k preview, October 5th at 8am for the 25k, and October 12th at 8am for the 5k. Training runs are open to all whether you’re registered or not, and there is no limit, either. Come to one, or come to all three!

Group Run
Join us in Colorado Springs each and every Monday night at Fossil Craft Beer Co. for a free trail run & social! The run starts at 5:00pm.
