About UTAH 115
Welcome to UTAH 115 - America’s high desert ultra in southern Utah!
UTAH 115 consists of two race distances - 115 miles and 50 miles. The cut-off times are 50 hours and 20 hours respectively.
Both races will take you across some of the harshest desert terrain anywhere on the planet. Created by the founders of the world’s premier stage race, the Grand to Grand Ultra, UTAH 115 is brand new! It follows a large part of the Grand to Grand Ultra course and incorporates several of the key features of the world-famous stage race including:
• Coral Pink Sand Dunes
• Hog Canyon
• Cave Lakes Canyon
• Cliffs Trail
• Tom’s Canyon
• Parunuweap Canyon
• Belly of the Dragon
• Diana’s Throne.
Get ready to take on a unique challenge in one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes.
Running and hiking through the vast Utah desert, you will need to dig deep to uncover your untapped strength and determination.
You will experience the remotest part of continental America as did the earliest settlers, Navajo and Paiute Indian tribes.
Despite the race taking place in one of the remotest locations in America, the start and finish will take place in Kanab, possibly the coolest little town in southern Utah! This storied western town has a glamorous history and is fast becoming iconic in the trail running world. If you haven’t been yet, now is the time to try out some classy restaurants, stylish coffee bars, western shops, small town vibes and cowboy hospitality!
