Lost Lake 25K — Yeti Trail Runners’ newest adventure in the Pacific Northwest!
Introducing the Lost Lake 25K - Yeti Trail Runners’ newest race in the Pacific Northwest!
Set in the moss-covered, view-filled Chuckanut Mountains, this point-to-point course gives you everything you want in a spring trail race: runnable trails, dense forest, big lake energy, and just enough grit to keep it interesting.
Perfect for first-time trail runners. Seriously - if you’ve never run trails before, or never been to a Yeti Trail Runners event, this is the one. It's low pressure, high fun, and full of the kind of good vibes that make you fall in love with trail running. Come for the views, stay for the finish line snacks and the trail family you didn’t know you were missing.
This is a true point-to-point - no out-and-backs, no repeats - starting at the Lost Lake Trailhead and finishing at the Larrabee State Park Amphitheater. It’s smooth where it should be, technical where it counts, and beautiful the whole way through.
Race Details
- Date: Saturday, March 7
- Start Time: 8:00 AM
- Location: Bellingham, WA
- Start line: Lost Lake Trailhead
- Finish: Larrabee State Park Amphitheater
Course
The race starts at the Lost Lake Trailhead, winding south through Larrabee State Park, Washington’s first state park and home to some of the most iconic singletrack in the region. You’ll move through old-growth evergreens, past alpine lakes, and along ridgelines that’ll stop you in your tracks - or at least make you pause to take it all in.
On clear days, you'll catch views of Mount Baker, Bellingham Bay, and even into Canada. On misty days, you'll get full PNW mood.
The course was built for flow - runnable miles, smooth descents, a few good climbs, and nothing repeated. Just a solid point-to-point journey from trailhead to finish line.

Never been to a Yeti race? You're in for a good time. These races are about more than pace and placement - they’re about showing up, pushing through, cheering each other on, and finishing with a muddy high-five and a snack in hand.
When you hit the amphitheater at the end, it won’t just be a finish line. It’ll be a finish party.

Practical Details
The race takes place just outside Bellingham, WA, with plenty of nearby lodging and post-run eats. Since this is a point-to-point course, we recommend carpooling or getting dropped off at the start - we’ll share logistics and shuttle info as we get closer to race day.
Weather in the Chuckanuts can be unpredictable - misty and cool or sunny and dry. Pack for all conditions and wear trail shoes with good grip.
