About the Event
*************REGISTRATION EXTENDED! 10% Discount for HYNER Weekend! Use Code HYNER at checkout!**************
We have extended registration for anyone still interested, however the shirt order has closed. Those registering after 4/17 will receive a finisher medal, the same great aid station and post-race meal! It’s not too late, but time is running out!
The Hills Creek Endurance challenge will feature a 3 mile loop around Hills Creek Lake featuring mostly single track trail. The start/finish and aid station will be at the Sugarbush Pavilion with a water only aid station approximately 1.5 miles into the loop. The loop has just over 200 ft. of elevation gain. Those competing can register for the 3-hour, 6-hour or 12-hour option and complete as many loops as they want/can within the allotted time.
Proceeds
For 2024, we have selected Boxes of Hope, a local 501c3 based out of Mill Hall, PA to support with our event. Their mission is to spread hope and encouragement by sending care packages and mastectomy pillows to individuals in active breast cancer treatment. The donation will be made in honor of our dear friend, Amber Monaghan, who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and is in the middle of her battle kicking cancers butt. If you've ever had the pleasure of sharing some trail miles or post-race conversation with Amber, you know what a wonderful, fun, loving and TOUGH person she is. Even during chemotherapy, she's out on the trail bringing her full-on cheer to all who cross paths with her. Amber is looking forward to the day she can "pay it forward" to others diagnosed with cancer. We hope that the Hills Creek Endurance Challenge helps Amber jump-start her desire to help support others.
Please feel free to check out Boxes of Hope at boh4bc.org and on Facebook.
