Aid Stations
There will be four well stocked aid stations around the Lake and there will be post race food and drinks for all runners.
From Main Start/Finish to First Station (Em and M) 1.8 miles to Second (BURCS) 1.9 miles to Third (CULTRA) 1.7 miles then 2.2 miles to the Main Start Finish.
Course
The course is rolling loops but primarily flat on paved roads around scenic Lake Waramaug. Most people do PR's on this course. The start is near the intersection of Lake Waramaug Road and Anderson Acres Road in Kent, CT. There is a clockwise 2.2 mile out and then counter-clockwise back at the beginning of the race for all runners. The 50K runners will then do three 7.6 mile laps (counter-clockwise) around the lake followed by a 1.9 mile out and back to the finish at the State Park. The 50 mile runners will complete six laps around the lake and finish at the State Park. The 100K runners will do seven laps around the lake followed by a 2.3 mile out and back to finish at the State Park.
The 50K has 12 hours and the 50M and 100K have 13 hours time limits. However, depending on the time you start the last loop and how dark it is, rain, etc., we may let you continue. We consider all factors, the utmost being your safety and realistic probable finish time. Regardless, that decision is the sole discretion of the RD, Timer or race officials. We try to have everyone finish.
Coordinates of the state park for start and finish are:
N 41 42.47
W 073 23.059
Nearest intersection: Lake Waramaug Rd and Anderson Acres Extension
