Because we have a permit and you paid for the event, does not give you more right of way than others. Please be courteous of others and share the trails as you would a store aisle at your neighborhood store.
2. Absolutely no littering. "Leave No Trace."
3. When passing a runner announce yourself politely by saying ""May I please pass? or "On your left please."
4. All runners must wear bib on front of person. (Not on your back, pack, hat, butt, or calves).
5. Downhill Runners have the right of way. Uphill runners and hikers, please keep your head up
6. If you quit before or during the event, then you must turn in your bib and/or notify a race official at the start line or aid station when applicable.

Contracts, permit fees, awards, shirts, and all things associated with your event are planned and paid for long before your race day. We also do not transfer entries from runner to runner for various reasons. If a runner is found to be running under someone else's registered name, the bib will be pulled and the runner will not get credit for the race, or race swag.

Once again, registered runners can participate, and you may not exchange your entry with another individual.
Races will not be canceled due to rain or heat. Course trail work, closures, reroutes or construction may lead permitting agencies to require changes to the printed courses at any time prior to an event. This is out of the control of any race director, and we therefore will not offer refunds or credits in such a situation. If a race location is changed due to park closures, we will automatically transfer the registration over to the new venue; or entrants may choose to cancel their entry (non-refundable and non-transferable). Races cancelled due to inclement weather, fire or unsafe AQI will be rescheduled, or credited 50% towards a future race. Our Founder Robert Rhodes

If trail running is the ruling passion in Rob's life, it is best expressed in the company he created, BayTrailrunners. He built this group from scratch, starting with just a few like-minded runners to staging races attended by hundreds of runners. Along the way, he controlled all aspects of the races he created. He built and managed the BayTrailrunners website and created newsletters and mailing lists to promote the runs along with print, social media content, and videos.

Rob and his media side hustle, the Dirtbagger Film Syndicate, also became the first international representative of the Trails in Motion Film Tour when it was awarded the film distributorship rights for Northern California. Each year now, Rob screens a new selection of films in various venues in California and elsewhere. His screenings have grown from just one in 2014 to ten in 2019 and have included such stages as the Western States Memorial Day Weekend Training, Miwok, North Face Endurance Challenge, Hardrock, Broken Arrow Skyrace, Lake Sonoma 50, and American Trails Running Association Trail Conference.
