100 miles of Mt. Hood grandeur!
Welcome to Hood Hundred, a 100 mile mountain trail run on much of Mt. Hood’s most diverse and famous terrain! Featuring a super crew-accessible lollipop-style course with 17,300’ of ascent and 17,300’ descent, Hood Hundred offers a truly epic and memorable mountain trail endurance run experience.
Staged at Mt. Hood Meadows, a locally owned and operated ski area, Hood Hundred combines equal parts trail running community vibes and professional event production, where we celebrate the sport of trail running, honor the mountain and celebrate each other’s accomplishments under the volcano’s summit at the finish line.
Training Weekend
We will coordinate a free and fun 3-day training weekend on June 20, 21 & 22, 2025 for registered runners, featuring most of the course spread across the three days around the summer solstice! More details will be posted on the Daybreak Racing website as we get closer, including routes, gpx data files and more. Since this is a no-fee experience, we’ll be providing the bare minimums, including daily morning greeting and orientation, water stations and first aid supplies along the route only. It’ll be a group effort coordinating shuttles and maximum mountain summer solstice energy!
Western States Qualifier
The 2025 Hood Hundred race is a 2026 Western States Qualifying race. Runners must finish Hood Hundred in under 34 hours to meet the Qualifying standard.
