Welcome Back Our Semi Annual Peak Pursuit

Attention all trail runners! Get ready for an epic challenge! Introducing our new "Peak Pursuit" - a vertical gain challenge that takes place on the Murder Mile and our newly built trails.

Push your limits and challenge yourself to climb to new heights. But it's not just the physical challenge that makes this event so special. It's the camaraderie and support of the trail running community. You’ll make lots of friends as you repeat your hills and chosen route in the 24 hour time limit.

This is not a competition but rather a personal challenge. Each hill has a token at the top. When you summit, collect your token. You are free to pick your own route or repeat a specific hill. You’ll need to plan and calculate accordingly.

When you have reached your summit goal bring your tokens to us for totaling. Upon completion you’ll get a special award celebrating your accomplishment.

This is a great way to get some vert training in for your fall races.

Summits To Choose From

You have 24 hours to accumulate vertical gain. At the top of each hill is a colored clothespin. Each hill is worth a certain amount of feet with the clothespin coordinating with that total. Accumulate as much gain as you want however you may only receive one summit award and it will be for the last peak achieved.

Aid

We will have minimal aid station setup as this is self supported so runners are encouraged to bring extra nutrition or their fueling favorites.

VERY SERIOUS AND POSSIBLY THE NUMBER ONE RULE We love our furry friends as much as you do but there are other pets that call this home and they aren’t looking to share. If you bring your furry friend you will be asked to take them back to their home. Please don’t make us do that. DO NOT BE THAT PERSON. Runners inform your friends, family and crew of this rule. It is non negotiable.

Refunds

We DO NOT issue refunds or rollovers. Doesn’t matter if you have your cousin’s shotgun wedding or your best friend’s dog’s bridal shower to attend if you cannot make the event your money is donated to the cause for those able to attend.All dollar dollar bills collected go to hosting these events and course and property maintenance. We do not charge outlandish fees so know your hard earned cash is going back into the community and keeping the Jones Family Property ready for visitors. We aren’t a park and we do not receive funding so everything you see and experience is because of loving and dedicated trail runners and supporters. So before you signup please consider this a donation and be okay parting with a few dollars that go back to these events. So THANK YOU we appreciate you!
