You should never have to worry about not having
the fuel you need! There will be 1 aid station midway through the loop for all race distances and a 2nd one at the Dover dam for 25k and 50k runners as well as and one at the start/finish area which 50k runners will hit after their 1st loop.
About
If you think you know the trails at Camp Tuscazoar, THINK AGAIN!! This race will will take you on trails you didn't know were there and to places where usually only the Gnomes go! That being said if you want a flat fast race this is not the race you are looking for,(Check out our Get Lucky 50/50 race for that) if you want a challenging, unique, beautiful course this is it!! (The Tuscazoar 100's evil little sister!!) May 10th, 8am start.
Running with My Gnomies is a 25k and 50k through the hills of Camp Tuscazoar in Beautiful Tuscarawas county Ohio
Not only will you get to run with your Gnomies (Friends) you will also run with Gnomes!
As you run along the course look for the gnomes of Tuscazoar.
There are many of them hiding among the rocks and trees of the Camp Tuscazoar forest.
Count and see if you can find them all!
Runners are encouraged to take selfies with at least 5 gnomes and post them on social media for an extra little swag!
The 9ish!
The Gnomie 9ish!!!
We decide to add a 9 mile (give or take a bit LOL) distance! The race will start at the same time as the other distances this will allow you to run a friend that may not want to do a 25k or 50k to run with you for part of the 25k! The 9ish mile course will follow the same route as the other distances and break off early to head back to the finish line! So bring your Homies to Run with the Gnomies!
THE COURSE
The course is a 25k loop (50k runs 2 loops).
It is a combination of single track trails, bridal trails, and short distance of gravel access road
all on Camp Tuscazoar property.
9ish mile runners will follow the same route and then break off early to shorten their loop.
Spectators
Spectators can hang out at the start/finish line area.
We will have music and a fire going
there is plenty of open space for kiddos to enjoy.
Spectators can also drive out to the camps south parking area (mile 4ish) to see their runner as they pass through.
Packet Pickup
Runners will be able to pick up their packets on Friday May 9th from 5-7:30 at Camp Tuscazoar in the main parking lot or on race morning May 10th, beginning at 6:30am at Camp Tuscazoar (race start area)
